Hi It depends which kind of information you have You can for example release a quote to SO with 7.12.10 You can also use QXTEND with an XML file

QAD has an "Excelerator" tool which adds QXtend functionality to an Excel spreadsheet to allow bulk load of sales orders into QAD.

You do have to have a minimal QXtend implementation on your QAD server to use this.

We have implemented order creation using web services.

CS team will enter the key data on the portal and based on the business the logic is build internally in the program and using webservies the  orders are created seamlessly in QAD.

You can also use CIM tool. It works on SE and EE version. Also implementation of EDI module is not complicated - you need to map customer order into some flat file and load it into QAD..Of course, there is some more details in EDI setup....
