Part Master (and Item Site) both maintain a cople of date fields;

pt_added and pt_mod_date both work exacly as you might guess; the date the item record was added and the date it was last modified.

Unfortuantely the modification could be any number of different fields (not just Item revision)

If you really want revision history, you can have it by using Product Change Control.

Each Product Change Order has an associated revision number.  Revision numbers must be in sequence, and the revision number is updated when the change is implemented.

You can use PCC for full control of product structures with date effectivity, but a minimal use would be to manage revision numbers.

If you don't want to use the PCC module you can use a very simple version called ECO maintenance that allows you to enter a change number and a date and then list which parts and the rev change.  Then there are standrad reports to show you the data you want (menu 13.13....)
