Recently, where I work, the quality order process was removed from several items were it was deemed not needed. It was also setup for the item to go from receipt to dock and a put away task generates. Upon put away the items staus does not change from inspect to avail. The bins where the tems are being transferred to are avail in location maintenance. items are put away using an RF scanner.

Check if the menu is correctly setup in warehouse maintenance. Check the "keep from status" flag.
What about the inspection flag in 1.4.7 (Item planning or item site planning)?
What is the site inventory status?
