It depends on how you are doing the upgrade.  But remember that eB is pre domain, so EVERY table would be different.  You would probably have to do multiple upgrades due to the 20 year difference.  Ths means that you will probably do a rebuild and dump the data out of your old system and create a brand new empty system.  this does mean that you will lose your history.  You have a number of ways to keep it.  1 would be to keep an old version of QAD running another would be to look at some form of archiving so you can just keep the files you need in seperate tables and then use any of the reporting tools like say cyberquery.  I would suggest you contact Progress Software. and talk to Alex Oliveri (he is based in the US) he will put you in touch with his Pro2archive team
