Hi Vinh,

You have not mentioned which version of QAD you are using but in both Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition financials, there are options available for mapping the COA from a source entity to a consolidation entity.

Here is a link to the page from the user guide section for Enterprise Edition:

https://documentlibrary.qad.com/documentation/EE/2017/UG/index.html#page/Financials_UG_v2017EE/14_Consol.15.04.html

Here is the equivalent page for Standard Edition:

https://documentlibrary.qad.com/documentation/SE/2014/UG/index.html#page/Financials_UG_v2014SE/03gl.04.37.html

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Ian.

Hi Ian,

My customer is using QAD EE 2012.1, is it work with Consolidation module with?

In consolidation module, are transactions copied from source entities to target entity, or only account balances are copied?

Hi Vinh,

Yes, EE 2012.1 works with the consolidation module. The system creates transactions in the consolidation entity that summarise period movements per account, rather than copy individual transactions, from the source entities.

Regards,

Ian.
