if you have access to View Maintenance then you can do the following:
Check the View associated with the browse (in Browse Master Browse)
Then follow the steps outlned in the attached document.

Mark is correct. Just to elaborate a bit: if the .NET UI version of Browse Maintenance does not support modifying the browse due to the join issues that limit this tool, you can (and must) revert back to using the legacy CHUI Browse Maintenance and View Maintenance tools to modify that browse. The limitations conveyed in that error message are only limitations for the newer .NET version of Browse Maintenance.
